I remember having staff rounds with “the beeper” Watts Webb. Nestor Dan was my senior resident. We put make-up on the patients, sat them up and gave them newspapers so they could look good on rounds. One time one of the residents propped a yellow “Schwartz” surgery book in the patient’s lap and The Beeper didn’t seem to notice. We laughed so hard!
I have a few pics of you, Brinker, from your first clinical rotation with Wade. If you want I will dig them up and send them to you. They still have a sandwich named after you at Camelia Grill.
