Best Lallie Kemp story

It must have been our 4th year in med school (’65-’66) when several of our class were in Lallie Kemp. One of us had just seen a patient in the ER who had multiple staph furuncles on her hands and uncontrolled diabetes. She had had these for several days. The excellent fourth year med student asked her occupation and she responded, “I am a cook.”. The student asked where she worked and her response was, Here at the Lallie Kemp kitchen. ” We ate out the rest of the time.
